"I like the rooms! Bed was very comfortable. I didn’t like the bugs and that there was not really an area for our party to gather around in celebration of a milestone birthday. The fishing was not great in comparison to the other locations we have stayed at however I do like the amenities this resort provides for children."

"The setting on the lake were incredible, the rooms are pretty tired, and could use updating. They front desk lady gave me an upgrade which was very good. The front desk lady also charged me $4 extra because she said expedia doesnt pay their fees, not sure what that was all about but have never run into that issue before. "

"Check in was at the building next door, which wasn’t advertised very clearly. The elevator was inoperable so we had to carry all bags up, which wasn’t a huge deal but inconvenient with a one year old. The restaurant was closed which made for very slim food options in town, glad we brought snacks! Overall wasn’t a horrible place for a quick one night stop on the way to our final destination. "

"This property is so unique and the concept of converting cabooses into rooms was genius. We had a wonderful two night stay. We stayed in “The Gatsby” caboose, which has a deck out front overlooking clear lake. The deck was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and our evening cocktail. Inside our caboose were robes & other amenities to enjoy the in-room jacuzzi. Loved the hanging chairs, and the grounds were so lush and well maintained. The breakfast both days was delicious.
