"Extremely remote (nearly a 3 hour bus ride from Kinegawa Onsen Train station into the winding mountains) which was both an adventure and unnerving. Made to feel like a foreigner with little help in understanding the cultural norms as a newcomer to the onsen experience. "The staff goes really out of their way for their guests. We missed the last shuttle of the day from the train station to the hotel. We decided to walk, since we also missed the last bus. "My husband and i likes it very much.. its a self service check in/out. It has washing machine, kitchen that u can cook and bbq grill and it has private onsen too but we didn’t use it coz it’s cold outside. This room can fit 5-7 people. The thing that I don’t like was the cleaner keeps on trying to open our door when it’s not yet check-out time. But overall we liked it."
