"Clean room, comfortable bed, and very nice staff. Nothing fancy or luxurious. One negative is that the spaces in the small parking lot are extremely narrow. I was constantly worried my rental car would be dinged by a car door slamming into it. "

"Room has a smell to it due to it being an old property, old rug and old beds. Old design. It is cheap compare to other nicer and renovated properties. Most properties around the area are old. Staff are helpful, always smiling and courteous. Their housekeeping only puts new towels and cleans trash, we had to tell the front desk daily that we want full service to make up the bed. "Our ocean view 1‑bedroom suite at Kohea Kai far exceeded expectations. The photos don’t come close to capturing how beautiful and peaceful this place really is. The suite was clean, nicely furnished, and surprisingly affordable for Kihei. The best part was the balcony/deck — every evening we watched stunning sunsets while listening to the sound of the waves. "Everything was great. Amenities and rooms. The pool is right next the public beach with beautiful sand, volcanic rocks and manicured grass next to it which was nice to use if you don’t want sand. The hotel beach has new lounge chairs. The lobby is nicely decorated. We had some room door issue which was resolved by moving us to a different room. One thing I would improve is adding an ice machine ( there was none and you have to buy a big bag of ice if you want a cold drink). There was a good...
