"Gym is in a sketchy basement, Laundry room was ok, card reader didn't work had to go to the basement to get coins. Considering we were there for the Kona storm the property and rooms were great. The beautiful sliding door that I loved so much the first day became a leaky whistling mess once the storm came in. Still I'd come back again."

"Our stay was very nice! This is definitely a motel and not a hotel, but we were very comfortable. The pool was full of plant debris and the hot tub was cold, so we did not use those unfortunately. It was very nice to have beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas provided! The shower towels provided were the cheapest, thinnest, smallest towels I have ever been provided; consider bringing your own! "Did not use Wi-Fi . A/C kept changing the temp up an down. Room was clean. The dishwasher did not want to start except on Heavy Duty, and the ran for 2 hrs. until I canx. it! Fridge was loud. We turned it OFF at night to avoid the noise. 3 knives in silverware drawer had the blades fall off the handle in our hand! Towel rod outside shower was starting to come off the wall. Lanai screen handle was coming off. Screw stripped. Other than the above, it was fairly comfortable."

"Bring your own mop and cleaning supplies! I've stayed in Kama'ole Sands and other condo's a bunch and have never been so disappointed. This unit was filthy dirty, your feet would stick to the floor, and be black after 10 minutes. We ended up cleaning the floors on our first day of vacation, so sad. Lamps don't work, table stand legs are broken, wall outlets don't work, pizza pan but no pizza cutter or hot pad. "
