I am extremely disappointed with my stay and I definitely feel a refund is appropriate.
We paid full price, but the hot tub was not available, which was one of the main amenities we expected to use. There was no proper price adjustment, no meaningful solution, and no real accountability for charging full price when advertised amenities were not available.
On top of that, the room lights were flickering, which made the room feel poorly maintained and uncomfortable. There was...

"The staff was great and it’s in a perfect location- just steps from the beach and town. The bed was really comfortable but the shower leaked all over the small bathroom floor- needs a new shower curtain. Recommend for the location, but it’s nothing fancy."

"Just realize ALL ROOMS are non-smoking and pet friendly. I chose a room based on those trying to get a view just to find out those two criteria don’t matter. Paid the extra $40 per night for our dog and were put in a room all the way at the end of the hall on the top floor. Signs all over say dogs are usually only on floors one and two. Not convenient at all and we booked well in advance. "

"We have stayed at Adrift a sister property in Long Beach and had some high expectations for Ashore and they blew it out of the water! We were lucky enough to get a room in the first floor and we loved being able to park right outside our room it made unloading our bags a breeze.
