"The room was very clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. Check in/out was very fast and efficient. We were there in May and the weather is hot/humid, the air conditioning is very strong and cold, that made us very comfy in the room. The location is very close to subway station - Huangsha Station, the entrance is next to the hotel, very convenient. "First room we were given was weird shape. Advised front desk immediately we wanted room change. This was completed mid day next morning. This room was exactly what we expected. We were staying for month, so needed good room. Close to everything! Shops, Beijing road, underground. Safe in room, but as this was 'free standing' seemed pointless to use, but as is usual in China camera's everywhere so security not really an issue. Without room change, and weird safe I would give this place a big 5...

"The hotel is ok or below ok for the price. There was the smoke smell present all the time in the room. The staff does not speak English, but they used the electronic translator, which helped. The breakfast items were tasty (several kinds of bao-tzy, also dumplings, oranges, sanwiches). The thing was helpful- self-service laundry without charge. The gym is a nich in the wall, but I used it, it was ok. The internet in the room was terrible, very intermittent."
