"The hotel was well situated and an ideal size for a couples trip. The pool was fine, and the breakfast good if a bit slow to arrive when they were busy. The room was very nice; the bathroom fine but a bit short of hooks, rails or storage space for one’s own toiletries. The shower needs a shelf rather than balancing the soap on top of the tap. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."

"Got to the hotel and given a room at first I genuinely thought I had been given a room at a 1970s russian camp. The guy at the desk was asleep and didn't speak a lick of English. We didn't get told about the sauna or the jacuaazi which is still not working or built not sure which After our 7 days visit in truth is was pretty decent. The staff was always on hand to open the shop even at 4am. Very friendly and polite. It was not to busy. I have to be honest the biggest thing to be of help was...

"Great hotel with super friendly staff in a great location, handy for the harbour, shops and restaurants. We were asked to move rooms after two nights and were compensated with half board for the rest of our stay. Lovely clean pool - sunbeds a bit uncomfortable and you need your own towels - but a minor issue really. "

"This was our second stay with Vera hotel. The rooms were clean and they were very accommodating to our special requests. Breakfast was very good and the staff is very friendly. "

"Our stay at Casa Mespilea was absolutely wonderful. It’s a glorious place with quiet low key vibes, a wonderful courtyard space to eat and fantastically kind staff. I only had breakfast on one day, but the pancakes were fantastic and the fruit was wonderfully fresh. The room was comfy and clean, with divine air conditioning as well. "The location was great. Right on the market square of Polis with great fish restaurants close by and a lovely cocktail bar next door. The rooms are minimalist but the bed was comfortable and the aircon didn’t keep us awake which was a bonus! The staff were friendly and courteous, giving great service and nothing seemed too much trouble. This is not a 5 star creature comforts spa and pool hotel, but a lovely small 6 rooms, boutique hotel which is clearly respected by the locals who stopped by...

"It’s a nice apartment with good provisions and utensils at a reasonable price. The only minor downside is the a/c units are old and are hard to control. Newer units would not churn out such cold air. Otherwise all was great and George was extremely helpful. Will def recommend"
