"Absolutely loved our few days here. Off season so it was quiet and at times the staff outnumbered us 3 to 1. They were unfailingly friendly, and everyone customer-facing spoke at least basic tourist English which I didn't expect but which was welcome - despite our best efforts for months, our Vietnamese is pitiful! "This was an interesting property with some nicely designed interior features and run by a lovely family who tried very hard to please. However, it was not a bilingual property as advertised and that was frustrating at times.I found the kitchen poorly equipped and had to supply some of my own utensils. There was no microwave as advertised and the washing machine had Chinese only instructions.Attention to these small details could make a big difference to someone's stay."

"Rex was a really great place to stay, the food was good, the staff was friendly, and best of all was the cleaners. They were so kind, would take the time to talk and always made me feel welcome. "Nice quiet room we had. Don’t know if you had one on other side. Staff was friendly although English was limited. At breakfast the staff very helpful. I asked for 1 hour delay at checkout but they were only able to accommodate 30min. Room are nice and clean. Since it’s holiday weekend a lot of kids. Made the pool water not as clear as you would expect. I would stay here again. "

"This hotel is located very close to the beach. Eventhough this hotel has seen so many seasons past, it is still well kept. I enjoyed the morning breakfast that has great selection and the team were very accomodating. A shout out to the reception team especially to Kieh accomodating my check out extension request due to flight time changes. Will definitely redommend."
