"Spotlessly clean room with a rack for my suitcase and somewhere to put unused cushions so as to keep them off the floor. Not a lot of interaction with staff but what there was was pleasant and helpful. I guess my biggest concern was what would happen if the lift broke down as I certainly couldn’t have managed the stairs. No tea (or other hot drink) making facilities, but that’s not the end of the world."

"C'est vraiment très moyen, niveau confort pas de thermostat de température dans la chambre, le chauffage se regle sur le vieux radiateur electrique directement, du coup, reveillé dans la nuit tellement il faisait chaud. Aeration de nuit ca reveille, réglage en tâtonnant ( ca prend beaucoup de temps et c'est pas ecolo du tout). "I received a warm welcome from Celine, who spoke very good English, and she advised on where to eat, what to do and what not to miss during my short visit to Angers. The hotel is very conveniently located for the station and a 10 minute walk from the chateau. My room was very clean and comfortable and I slept well. It was quiet. Breakfast featured a variety of fresh fruits, breads, croissants and cereals, hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese, accompanied by good filter coffee. I was very satisfied!"
