"I have to start out with this review by saying that we were very impressed with Andie who saved the day. Her service was stellar and she went way above and beyond in any way that we needed her.
I have mixed feelings about the actual bed and breakfast. The decor was cozy and quaint matching the older building. It was a short walk to town. To start each day, Andie cooked delicious breakfasts.
We booked the bed and breakfast for three nights. Our room, however, did not look anything like the picture. I was expecting a bigger room.
After a long day. We were crawling into bed and found the sheets full of hair and dirt. I called Andie who was very apologetic. At 10pm, she came over and changed them.
The fan was loud and was tittering so we did not dare use it that night. There was no place to put things. It would have been nice to have counter space.
The next morning Andie moved us into a nicer room which we appreciated. Andy also talked to the owner about giving us a partial refund. We never did get a partial refund.
Nor did we ever hear from the owner who has apparently owned the place for 20 years. Not hearing from her was disappointing.
With all of that being said, we had a wonderful time in Cloudcroft."
