"Room was non-smoking, but smelled of smoke and vape combination within the room and was strong. Dryer on scene was broken. Requested fresh towels and they had hair on them. For one cheap quick stay for travel it may be fine. Overnight there was screaming arguing, and you can hear everything from outside the room. "First and foremost Split Rock did not make me aware that we were staying separately from the actual hotel. This may have been a blessing because the hotel seems like its falling apart. Everything is old and needs to be updated. The place is so dirty and things donts even work. I was very disappointed with the experience and will not be returning. The waterpark was horrendous"

"We stayed at cheap hotels our whole road trip trying to save a buck. On our way home I booked this one which was still a great price!
Wow it was so clean and friendly, great breakfast which was HUGE for us saving money on our road trip.
Wished I had stayed at this one both times I was in Scranton. 10/10 to the staff and the hotel in general."

"Room was not as well lit as advertised. You had to ask for every little thing from daily maid service to extra TP or drinking glasses. When the room was cleaned it was not done completely (one bed was not made up and some old newspapers were left on the floor) but it was done quickly ( I requested service when I went down for breakfast expecting it to be done later that morning or early afternoon.
