"Beautiful hotel with unique, modern rooms and a great staff. Our favorite of our two-week stay by far. Very foreigner friendly and one of the more upscale hotels we stayed at. Rooms are gorgeous and feel very private. Great onsen, although worth noting it switches genders every day (so women can access one day, men the next). The "off" gender gets access to the sauna, which I did not try. Location is good, in the middle of everything with great transit options, but not in a very touristy area...

"This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and spacious. There were 2 restaurants and a bakery/ cafe on the main level. It was too hot to spend time on the roof deck but it was lovely and the food looked delicious. Staff were very helpful with dinner reservations and forwarding our luggage to Tokyo. Sera, one of the hotel staff was especially helpful when my daughter needed to be seen by a medical doctor. She called for us and arranged for her to be seen before the office closed....
