"The first thing to comment on is how good the staff were. Helpful and friendly in every area.
In other areas the experience was good but fell down slightly on detail. The room was cosy, but needed a bit of TLC. A bit of paint touching here and there. Dinner was good, but the sea bass was tiny and the lamb pie was parsimonious with the lamb. The sticky toffee pudding could have been warmer. The menu is not cheap.
At breakfast ingredients were excellent but eggs cooked too long, tomatoes too...

"Parking was easy. Good breakfast menu. Hotel in centre of Louth so good for all facilities. Only downside was no food or drink in the hotel in the evening so you had to go out."
