Gern Hotel Guide - 4 Stars Hotels in Gern, Munich

Nice location close to the train station

Had a lovely time at this hotel, was a good choice as far as we were concerned

Stopped here because of its proximity to the Olympic park and a concert we were going to there; and it was an excellent choice. We went on to spend 2 weeks touring Austria, Switzerland and Italy; and this was easily the best hotel we stayed in. Pretty sure the band we went to see stopped here too :-) The room was modern, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was superb with a great choice of hot and cold items. Probably the best we had during our 2 weeks away. All the staff were really good...

Excellent hotel and very comfortable in the old town. Rooms were on the smaller side but this is to be expected given the location.

Good hotel in the sense of room standard, comfy bed, good housekeeping and great breakfast. 5/7 mins from Munich Hbf and 15 min stroll to Old Town. Surrounding area is not great albeit not unsafe, so options at night near the hotel as limited, but if you want to use as a base for venturing outside Munich (used train for days in Nurmburg and Salzburg) then hard to fault in the round. If i was travelling back to Munich i would have no hesitation about staying here again.

Stayed in late August 2026. Rooms are small however clean. Bar and restaurant really good and the staff are very nice, helpful & the food is very good. Not located in a premium area however reasonably close to the rail station (10 minutes on foot with luggage is doable). Within 10 minutes walk you are entering the main hub of Munich and close to all tram & bus services. There is a laundromat close by however costly by western standards, it cost is nearly 20 Euro for two loads and drying. So i...

Great location.Breakfast great. Staff helpful and efficient. Impeccable service. Room standard excellent and cool when walked in from the hot weather. Best hotel shower ever had too. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was perfect! Only 3 stops on the bus to the nearest railway station (good when you have suitcases) and a short walk to the underground. The room was very clean. When we discovered a fault with the hairdryer it was fixed instantly. The free laundry room was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and welcoming hotel with great links nearby

Spacious clean room in a hotel with an excellent location. Immediately across the road from Munich Central Station and 5-10 minute walk to Marienplatz

Lovely room and very helpful staff.

Convenient for transport links . Excellent staff . Good service.

Firstly I have to say the staff were all wonderful throughout the stay. The other standout of the hotel was the breakfasts - plentiful, varied, high quality, generally amazing. The hotel is well located and the facilities were very nice, definitely a recommendation from us

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Munich. It’s extremely well maintained, and our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and featured everything you need for a relaxing stay. Robes, slippers, air con, electric blackout blinds, chrome cast TV, gorgeous mini bar, Molton & Brown toiletries, plus a nightly top up of bottled water and popcorn. Best of all though, is the hotel team. The lady who checked us in on 13th August gave us the perfect welcome, and the front desk staff on 14th were...

This is our second time in the hotel , 8 years apart, the hotel is impeccable and very well maintained. Great area, perfect for a city break and very good for a family. Will recommend and hopefully will be back.

Great bar and bar staff- very entertaining watching the cocktails being made. Could do with a mirror closer to the electricity socket and more convenient to use the hair dryer in the room.

Good location near to main station. Easy to walk into the centre of Munich. Only drawback was limited restaurants nearby to eat.
