"We recently stayed at Quinta de la Rosa for three nights, having started our holiday in Porto. We took the train from Porto, which is a lovely way to enjoy the Douro Valley.
On arrival we were able to get a taxi from outside the station and 10 minutes later were at the Quinta. Descriptions suggest this is not a hotel but rather a rustic retreat but it is carefully curated and standards are pretty high. Our suite overlooked the river and was very comfortable and quiet. "The property is breathtaking. The views, walking paths, history- everything is beautiful and peaceful. Although room was small, we didn’t spend much time inside- so many things to enjoy outside. We had garden view rooms and it had a very beautiful porch with roses. The whole property is very well maintained, and not touristy at all. Peace and quality everywhere .Dinner was lovely."

"Room was clean and spacious. Amenities were excellent. Being a Tesla Supercharger location helped a lot in booking this reservation. Also breakfast was quite good with local quality products."

"I hope to return to this area someday just to stay at quinta da marka! We were fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves and everyone made us feel like we were at home!
If you have the chance to have dinner here during your stay you must, its beautiful home cooked foods. Annabelle and her mother took great care of us and made sure we were happy with our meals and would even ask us what we would want nex time.
