"The Placemakr is well situated right off Broadway. Our room was a spacious studio suite with a balcony on the 19th floor overlooking Broadway. Check-in was fine, the staff was not super engaging and apparently we were to receive complimentary drinks daily and it was not mentioned upon arrival. Pool area was also nice. We did appreciate the security of the property as well. If we return, we would consider this property again. If you park in the garage next to the DGX, beware of how narrow it is- a large SUV or truck would have difficulty maneuvering the spaces and exit. "

"Stayed over Christmas. The hotel was beautifully decorated. The atrium had lots of lights and Christmas trees. Guests were all decked out in Christmas PJ's to celebrate and enjoy their time. There staff was very friendly and helpful. They had entertainment inside the hotel and outside (Cirque and ICE) Convenient to nearby mall, General Jackson, Opry and easy ride to downtown via Uber. Waterslide park attached but we didn't use it. Lots of open space that could use more restaurants/bars in the hotel. Wonderful place to celebrate Christmas."

"We had a 2 night stay at the Omni. Upon arrival, the staff was attentive and the lobby was beautiful. We were able to check in early with no problems. Our room was good -- it had a funky smell but we acclimated. Our room was a bit run down. The toilet flusher was broked, the handle to get into the shower was broken, and there was a lot of grout missing on the shower floor. These were small issues that didn't interupt our stay but just felt like lack of care. The ammenities - 2 restaurants, 1 coffee shop, and the lobby bar were great. Good options and appropriately priced. The hotel is very close to the downtown scene, easy walking to everything of course rather loud at night but the tv offered a "white noise" channel so that was helpful with blocking out the bar close street noise. Overall, I would stay at the Omni again."
