"Great location but very tired and dirty!
We paid £222 for a premium room mid week. The location is lovely but this is not for anyone with limited mobility.. the hotel itself is a rabbit warren with steps everywhere. Our room was awful. Chipped and outdated furniture, smelly bathroom, tv unwired, filthy windows, grubby in places. The dining room was mainly ok and the food the same. "Amazing property, nice to stay out of Scarborough and have a peaceful village to retreat back too. The accommodation is so well decorated and has the wow factor. Highly recommend. Plus the pub is over the road with great food. Best for families with a car as not easy to get to on public transport. We’ll be back again very soon to try out another property in your collection."

"The bedroom & en suite were very tastefully decorated, with the decor exactly to our taste!
The Bella Rose coffee shop was used throughout our stay & the staff were very welcoming & accommodating. The 15% discount was used each time we ate there which was a bonus as thought it might be a one-off.
Peasholm Park on the doorstep was a huge plus too!
My only criticism of our stay was that I made the owners aware that I was allergic to fur & feathers beforehand & I particularly queried any cushions...

"Helpful staff and very handy having the small kitchen. Great location but the area was loud and the guests upstairs were very noisy. We could hear everything. Parking permit provided which was handy for the on street parking. Overall good."

"Moria and Ian are lovely hosts - nice to talk to and made us feel very comfortable. Great view from the room and comfortable bed. Great location and addition of parking is a wonderful touch. Breakfast was really nice and the choice / amount of food is very impressive - filled us for the day. Property itself could do with some modernisation and general upkeep. We had a sea view room with was a highlight. Thank you for a really pleasant stay :)"
