"Lovely stay here, only bad thing was the rooms were very stuffy even with the air con on it was very warm in the room so that was uncomfortable. Hotel meals were expensive too. Was clean and nice hotel though "

Did ask before our arrival for an additional bed in the room which the team advised they would sort, but was not there when we arrived, and due to the time we checked in, were advised this wouldn’t be possible so ended up sleeping on the sofa. "We got upgraded from a classic double to the Mary queen of Scots room. The room was facing the main road, but it was so quiet, that you wouldn't have known. The room was really clean. The food was really tasty and well presented. That was both dinner and breakfast. The staff was amazing. We didn't want to leave. "

"Property is in a small town so little bit limited for the restaurants options. Property has nice period features and good size executive rooms. Staff was very nice and breakfast lovely fresh. There is also lovely garden at the back of the property for an evening drink in the warmer weather. "
