"The Kimpton Hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were very attentive. I had an issue with my thermostat and someone was at my foot within 15 minutes. They took care of it and had no other issues throughout my stay. Only one complaint that my room was somewhat dark despite the 4 lamps in the room. The building is over 100 years old so maybe that's the reason for the dim lighting. "

"A great hotel, but I have to say that $64 a night for valet (There appears to be no self park) and the "Resort Fee" at hotel that is not and does not offer "Resort" level amenities is over the top. The resort fee is clearly because Denver/CO allows them to do it, so the hotel takes advantage of the opportunity to nickel and dime you for an extra $30 and change a night or offer you a price that is $30 a night less and then get you in the fine print. "I’ve stayed at many Doubletree hotels in the past, and I was a little disappointed this time. First of all, the signature cookies we got when we checked in were warm, but way overcooked and hard as rocks. The layout of the room was a little odd as well, with a lot of wasted space in the middle and not very many areas to sit down in. Although the coffee maker was there, and functional, the cord was not long enough to reach the outlet, and so it had to be placed on the floor to be able to plug...

"We had a fantastic stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and very helpful. On our last day the area got a ton of snow and a staff member was going around clearing all the vehicles in the lot. Could not have asked for a better experience."
