"The central heating is far too warm and felt suffocating and sweating. The temperature setting was around 26-30c which is not ideal and definitely not the right setting. Sheraton should have a standard data on suitability ambient temperature for public."

We did not use the restaurant but went out to the local food stores for our meals. They spoke enough of English here for our needs."

"They didn't know what Expedia was so had no idea of my reservation. When I re-booked with them (they had spare rooms) they didn't know how to process foreign credit cards. A manager finally sorted it but didn't seem bothered about terrible arrival process that took 30 minutes to check in. Room had stains, bin in bathroom had some smelly liquid in it. Windows don't seal properly, so you hear the road. Not good."

Rather this is a decent, clean, safe hotel in a suburb of Changsha. Room and bed were comfortable and bathroom well equipped, everything worked well. The first room I was given smelt as if the last occupant had been smoking, but the staff happily swapped me to another room that smelt much better (this room also had ashtray and matches provided so...
