"Since the moment I arrived at the hotel, the service was disorganized and discourteous.
I arrived with a private driver and was instructed to remain in the car because there were too many guests checking in. Staff wanted us to wait in the parking area, and I had to request to speak with a manager because my driver needed to leave and I could not simply remain outside waiting.
After reaching reception, I asked about the hotel services and was informed that dinner reservations were required....

"Whilst the property was beautiful, and the onsen was immaculately clean, I felt that the resort could have done a lot more to create a more welcoming environment with more varied dining and drinking options. "Tourist IG trap. Feels nothing like Japanese. Very much an American ran hotel that pretends to be Japanese. Food both breakfast and dinner very westernized Japanese food and don’t taste good. Everything is designed to look good for a camera but no substance. My shoes were very dirty from a hike. Staff informed us they shoe cleaning service for free. Turns out just tapping the shoe. I went to front desk and ask if I can pay for a proper shoe clean. Staff was confident they have this service but...

"Nice Hotel and very comfortable room. Nothing much surround the hotel , but lucky the hotel provide shuttle bus to the ski resort and premium outlet so it helps us to go around and enjoy the city attraction.

"Incredible stay and experience at 軽井沢森四季! The staff was so helpful and assisted us with everything we needed including making 2 amazing meals for our group. The 緑 cabin was the perfect size for our 6 person group and we were really able to utilize the space and location to maximize our time in Karuizawa. We especially loved the wood burning stove in the cabin and used it during a snowstorm to have the coziest night of our trip. I highly recommend anyone interested take advantage of this...
