"Perfect location for travelling around the lake and for going out in the local area. Delicious and ample breakfast, tailored to your needs with plenty of tasty options which set us up right for a long walk. Super comfy bed, warm, little nice things like milk and good advice on walks and local sights. They also gave us biscuits to keep us trucking on our walk on our way out the door. "

"Lovely hotel apartment. The only thing i would say is on a safety point of view. My 4 year old woke up in the night at 1.10am, confused (as didnt know where he was) and when he went looking for us, he actually went out the main door to the corridor and up the stairs (we were on the first floor). It wasnt until we heard him crying through the walls that we shocked awake and went looking for him. The night receptionist, was on and heard what had happened, but our son went up the stairs so...

"Lovely hôtel - perfect for Lake Windermere. Facilities in the hotel are great: there are even wellingtons you can borrow to do a woodland walk. The restaurant is fantastic with high quality food. The lounge and reception area have wonderful open fires which make it feel really cosy. Our feature room was fantastic and roomy."
