A gentleman escorted us around the hotel while other folks brought our bags to the room. Very nice attendant in the spa. The staff was gracious enough to speak to my wife in French, as she preferred. The room was full of super-nice extras, e.g., lots of electrical sockets (which is often not the case in historical hotels), rich carpeting, thoughtful lighting,...
