"I had a truly exceptional stay at the Geno Hotel. From the day shift to the night staff, the service was world-class. In all my travels, I have never been treated like just another guest; I felt like part of the family. The care from the entire team—from the managers to the young man at the front door—is unlike any other. I especially want to thank the restaurant staff. Every time I returned from shopping at the local shops, they seemed genuinely happy to see me, greeting me with huge smiles and a warm 'welcome back.' "Great for a 1 night stay. Lots of good options closeby for food. Internet was good also. Breakfast is very simple - eggs we super soft runny and served no other way even when we mentioned we could not eat half raw eggs. No coffee available only weak tea. Toast with butter and kaya jam. Bed was comfy and nice hot shower. Cold filter water dispensers to fill bottles was great too."

"Attended an event at the Shah Alam Theatre, so the primary reason for booking this was the location. Staff was friendly and helpful; the onsite food options were good and convenient. Didn't explore the area so cannot comment on it. Property is showing its age, and I hope the owners invest in an upgrade. Furnishings showed distress; carpet slightly worn; bathroom porcelain was colored; one elevator kept stalling. However, was pleased with the stay."
