"We had a great stay. Although our initial room was clean and well-maintained, it lacked WiFi access. However, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and promptly moved us to a larger room with a fantastic internet connection. We were very pleased with the service. Additionally, there was sufficient parking available at the back of the property, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good selection of continental options along with made-to-order hot food. We truly enjoyed our time there!"

"We checked ourselves in and left a couple of hours later (no staff seen). I hadn’t realised I’d booked a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was on first floor and we were on the second - we only saw one shower and 2 toilets for all the shared rooms. There’s half carpet in the standalone toilet, which is gross. The rooms themselves are fine, a bit rough round the edges. "The room and bed was massive and both the room and bathroom was very clean . A little note on arrival was very welcoming and a lovely touch. Plenty of shops bars and places to eat right on the doorstep. The nightclub was closed so the only noise was from the seagulls and pigeons . Would recommend."

It's an old building which (if you wanted to be picky) could perhaps do with the odd update, especially air con and the lack of it. Was a really hot couple of days we were there and if the summers are going to continue to get hotter they will need it. "We did not stay in main hotel but in a flat across town up a rusty fire escape. The staff have had little or no training in service to clients. We cancelled our evening meal and breakfast. This hotel is a throwback to the 50’s even to the brown decor. Not to be recommended!"
