Both myself and a colleague stay in this hotel for 4 nights . Both of us thought the hotel was lovely . The food was excellent , very clean and great rooms .

I stayed as a wedding guest. The wedding itself was handled very well. The property is in need of some maintenance though. For example, my bedroom windows were single glazed, and the wooden frames had clearly not been repaired or repainted for a number of years. The ensuite window was furnished with a torn blind and I couldn't reach the window to open or close it (it was left slightly open, but fortunately the weather wasn't cold). Breakfast was OK, and the bed was very comfortable.

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. I especially enjoyed the excellent service and delicious food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Overall about a 3 star stay. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in (in one of the annex buildings) was dated and felt unclean. There was black mold in the bathroom and the doors either jammed on closing or slammed so loud you were woken up in the night. The main building might be different.

The hotel is very tired and needs updating, however it was clean, comfortable and the staff were lovely. The food was excellent even though it was only myself and my wife who ate in the dinning room whilst we were there. The hotel does takeaway food and there was a steady stream of cars coming in to pick up meals which is a testament to the quality. The position of the hotel was great for our needs. It is outside of Oxford but transport links are very good. We are in the process of looking for property in the area and we would have no worries about staying there again whilst we are looking, and will go back there to eat once we have found a place to move to.

Pleasantly surprised

The hotel was a refreshing change from the usual "chain" hotels. The staff were excellent. The on-site Indian restaurant was very good. The breakfast was also good, limited choice but still very good!

It was clean the room was clean and tidy bathroom was excellent. The saff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing they should add some croissants to the selection. Location was excellent for us to visit family in Wantage over all we had a lovely weekend

I would like to save. We had a lovely anniversary. We can get away here and it was very pleasant. Great food and a even greater host the lady rose. Was. So helpful an a lovely person made us feel so welcome and looked after. Lovely bed and room no complaints.
