This is a beautiful property in a beautiful lakeside setting. Abrantes and Tomar are easily accessible. On arrival we two couples were warmly greeted and quickly registered. The rooms were lovely with a view of the lake and hillsides. We opted to dine at the hotel which is where the only negative aspect of our visit occurred. A staggering drunk waiter splashed wine all over the table and was too drunk to apologize. Coincidentally the same person was on breakfast duty-the day the coffee was undrinkable. It is truly unfortunate that this one employee, who never said one word to any of us, should leave such a negative impression for an otherwise lovely stay. Perhaps his family owns the place.

Disappointing.

It is a bit out of the way. If you have a view of the river, it is quite nice, We were there at the end of March, yet they still run their AC quite cold. You literally need to wear a big sweater in the common areas such as the lounge, dining room and lobby. The restaurant offers a limited menu, but even some of the dishes offered where not available. The bar had no beer for a few days???? The wi-fi was practically non-existent in the room. You need to go to the lounge to get a strong reliable signal, but put on real warm clothing. The staff is super. All in all, this should be a super place, but they have cut too many corners, which makes it less than so.

Notre choix s'est fait sur cet établissement car le prix avec petit déjeuner était très attrayant, le panorama sur les photos était magnifique et il était proche de Golegã oú nous étions à la féria du lisutanien.
