Our stay at the Western States inn was wonderful, the room was very clean with all items and facilities in good working order upon arrival and throughout our stay to departure. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. "Originally we were assigned a second floor room. Although elevators were available my 92 year old mother wanted a ground level room. I went back into the lobby and 5 minutes later we had gotten a ground level room right in front of a handicapped parking spot. Excellent service"

"The room was clean and looked newly renovated. There is a fire pit on the property and it’s right in Moonstone Drive across from the walking path that runs the length of Moonstone along the ocean. It’s beautiful."

"It was a good location. That's why we chose it. But it was very "bare bones." The soap/shampoo in the shower was awful. There was a smell of smoke even though I thought we had a non smoking room. And when we woke up there was no hot water. It was remedied after my husband went to speak to the front desk. I would say the bathroom.waa clean but the shower has mold in it."
