"This is my second time staying at this property. It is convenient to the town and other surrounding places, has a great selection of food and cocktails, everything was delicious. Unfortunately the staffing fell short of my expectations this year which was a complete 180 from my experience last year. The front desk and check in staff/bartender were lovely and very knowledgeable. I cannot say the same for the server (Sunday night) and the workers at the hut by the water. Both felt like questions were a burden/ a challenge and negatively affected my experience. As a solo traveler the place where I stay it is extremely important to feel comfortable and welcomed. Hoping this isn’t an ongoing issue and just a one off."

"Loved our stay at this hotel. Great location to main strip, walking distance to restaurants, shops and Shepard park. Indoor pool was a great amenity as we had some rain. Had a minor issue with our AC on the second night and notified the staff in the office first thing the next morning. The owner was at our room 10 minutes later fixing the issue in no time. Great customer service and will definitely stay here again our next time in Lake George!"

"I had a great stay at Laurel Lake Placid. I had a lovely room with a great view of the lake. The room was updated. It was clean and spacious. The only thing I can say the would be better would be more hangers and storage as there wasn’t a dresser or true closet. There was a closet bar and some shelving . Could just be my OCD, but I like things out of site. The bed was so comfy. It was quiet. You do have to go down for your coffee but I can live with that. They have nice common areas. The bar area is great and the bartender was lovely to chat with.The desk staff was friendly and very helpful. In fact , I left a bag behind and received a call from the desk within an hour of my leaving so I could easily return for it. The hotel parking is tight. But everything in town is within walking distance . I highly recommend."

"Spent just one night, staff was trying hard despite there not being enough of them to really deal with the busy summer. Nice room, nice pool and hot tub, a game room. Good breakfast, basic hotel fare."

"We went to dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday and they were out of a lot of things on the menu. Ex: chicken wings, clams. Parking is a problem, not sure if they have enough spots for each room. The staff at the desk and restaurant were not the friendliest and service was slow at the restaurant. Pool section and beach was very nice."
