"Lighting in room is horrible. As a senior who needs more light to see, it was extremely dark. Shower Water takes at least five minutes to warm up and water pressure is on the low side. Bed was comfortable but AC only went down to 66 and it was 100 when we were in Nashville. The best thing was that we had to be at the airport at 5 AM and it was just across a walkway so great location for early flights. Other than having an early flight, I would not stay there again. BTW, as we were leaving, we saw a mouse in the dining room."

"We had booked 2 rooms and 109 the sheets were dirty in both beds. It took 2 requests to get the room cleaned. The breakfast was great. Bathrooms were clean. It’s an old hotel and there are carpets to be replaced and some freshening up to do"

"The view at sunset is to die for. It’s a lovely beach to walk at low tide. The decor inside is cute and matching. All manner of items are available in the kitchen and the “nanny room” to make your stay enjoyable. I did not use the other room (with the hot tub) The owners, Jane and Cal, are friendly. The downfall? Cleanliness. Neat and Clean are not the same. The place was neat, but not clean. As well, when I texted to have the bathroom addressed - I was “left on read”. An hour later, I cleaned the bathroom myself before feeling comfortable to shower/bathe. It has never been addressed - lots of talk about “let us know if you need anything” but I guess you can let them know, just doesn’t mean they’ll address it."

"What a fun and unique way to spend our 20th wedding anniversary! The staff go above and beyond to inform you of how everything works before you go (watch the video!!). We especially loved the private hot tub and super comfortable bed! The view was amazing and our time there was very relaxing! It wasn’t as remote as we imagined (it’s on a residential street) but that was a feature for us as we weren’t far from town or Halifax. We stayed for 2 nights and that seemed the perfect amount of time to really enjoy and relax in the space."

"Cute, quaint property on the Salmon River. Great restaurant on site. The room met our needs to overnight, although there was no tv in the room. Very quiet area - even with the main road nearby. Nice breakfast in the morning too!"
