"Great place as ever"

"Atmosphere "

"Interesting hotel with gym,pool sau a,pub and cafe. Great for socialising. Public transport nearby, 30 minutes to the city centre. Room with comfortable bed and lovely bedding."

"Clean room, but the desk lamp did not work properly as the bulb constantly flickered. Also, the wall light near the window did not work at all. We felt that these things should be checked by the cleaning staff on a daily basis as it wouldn’t take long to switch on a lamp and wall lights while dusting them. We reported the broken lights to the receptionist when we checked out the next day."

"Excellent customer service. Front desk reception is welcoming and AMAZING! Beautiful breakfast too. Sadly, ... 1. Room was not properly cleaned. Dog's fur on carpet. My daughter was sneezing uncomfortably due to allergic reaction. 2. There was no shower cream. Thankfully, we brought something to use. 3.Shower was leaking."

"Good transport links. Room very clean. Staff exceptionally helpful. Does not do breakfast but sister inn close buy and plenty cafes nearby eg Starbucks . Only there for short while but hope to return and will stay again. "

"Style"

"The only observation is that in room 18 there were no usb charging points. There were a number of 13A sockets however these were all on the same wall as the desk and none near the head of the bed. I think this an odd missing feature. Room was clean and shower excellent. Breakfast offering in Black Pig was very pleasant as were the staff."

"For a budget hotel (although I did stay in a Premium room) the room was really quiet and the bed was large. I slept really well. Lovely shower, fun design details - painting, large lamp, coffee machine. The room felt spacious. I’d stay again."

"The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. We told them that’s not possible we had been there the past 2 nights and we needed to get to the train station as soon as possible. I get there...

"We really enjoyed our stay, the room was nice and clean and bed very comfortable. Christopher was super helpful and made us feel right at home!"

"Staff were very polite and helpful. Was not overly impressed with the room however but ok for one night. I doubt I would use this hotel again. Free parking and friendly helpful staff were two positives. "

"The buildings are old; you can tell from the worn steps. But the staff is very attentive and helpful. It was a short walk to multiple food options and some Banksy murals, too. Twenty minutes to the water with loads to take in on the way."
