"A good hotel off the ring road. Clean and comfortable rooms."

"We had a wonderful stay for one night here. We were assigned room 1, downstairs next to the kitchen. We used the kitchen to make dinner & the big fridge to store our cold items. The sauna was great & so was the hot tub (they both have views overlooking the farm/mountains). The place has a nice, large communal area to hang out, providing games, books & a large TV. The owner is very friendly. Breakfast was good. The entire place is kept up very well. We loved our stay here!"

"Very friendly hotel. Lovely Scottish lady carried our bags upstairs and made us drinks with chocolates when we came in after dinner. Cosy room and best beds ever!!! Bathroom cold and a bit old fashioned looking. Needs renovating. We ate at Sauda in the town as the restaurant wasn’t open. It was very nice. Good breakfast. Lots of parking."

"Super cute place once I found it. The tools are located above a tiny grocery store and I hadn’t realized that. Don’t let the store deter you from booking. I arrived around 8, it was closed. Parking lot of 4-6 spaces were empty. All good, very quiet and peaceful. Very nice area right by the water. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 out of 5 is that there was NO ONE else booked in the entire place and I did not have a room facing the water? "Located in Hofsos, small town, as others have noted, the details says restaurant but there is not one on site or even in the town. There is a convenience store across the street that has pizza and sub sandwiches, that is the only nearby dining option. The kitchen is nice but small. The whole time we were there two ladies in the other room camped out in it. Be aware also that it's not clear the actual property from the photos but it's the 8th or 9th photo. Not the black house. A couple of days before our check in day we received a message from the host with some very helpful information about things to do and see in the area which was much appreciated.
