Good hotel for a stopover

A quick overnight stay while passing through Ohio. Clean, decent hotel in a good location. Did not explore the hotel much. To the room, sleep, shower and out. No breakfast served at the time or our stay either.

It was under construction. The pool area was being removed. Dust in the air from sanding plaster. Paint smell. Not worth 1/2 of what I paid.

Find a room anywhere else.

Every employee we interacted with was excellent, but that’s where the positives end. The room was run down, fairly clean minus the fish hook my husband almost stepped on. The hot and cold water would change on its own. The rest of the hotel is absolutely terrible. Nothing on here told us the hotel was under a poorly managed renovation.

Very nice

It was a Great place to stay. I haven't called yet, but my cc was charged $20.00 more than the reservation was for. Good breakfast, very nice lady running the restaurant. Had truck parking definitely a plus for me

Shabby but quiet

The staff was friendly. No problem, there. And compared to a newer hotel I stayed in a week earlier, this older property was blessedly quiet. I couldn't hear a thing once I was in my room. That was nice. But this property had definitely seen better days. The hallways, particularly on the second floor, were shabby -- peeling and in need of apparent repair. The carpet in the elevators was stained and worn. There was also trash in the shrubs that surrounded the parking lot. In my room's bathroom, the shower drain was super slow and the shower knob felt like it would fall off in my hand. Overall, the place just had the vibe of been worn out and in need of a good facelift. The impression was not good at all. I expected more from a Holiday Inn

Our room was updated,clean,comfortable. Hotel was convenient for shopping and dinning . Very nice area. But your main entrance windows were pretty dirty. Dad impression. Hallway carpet needed vacuumed . The rubber entrance to each room at bottom of door needed dusted. Staff was very nice and friendly.

The holiday rates were remarkable, so I am loathe to complain about much, but the shower had a lot of mildew, among other uncleanliness around the room. We didn’t know until we’d checked in that “breakfast” would be bagels and some microwave breakfast sandwiches. There were tea bags and cocoa packets but no hot water. The coffee one morning was almost certainly there from the day before. Having said that, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and for what we paid, the stay was “fine.”

Could use some TLC

Staff were friendly and helpful-a big plus. The room was clean but smelled as if no one had used it for a very long time-that stuffy, never aired out smell. Ditto for the poor fitness center room. The heat/AC units may not have been cleaned in ages. The extra dust and who knows what else was not kind to my breathing.

Needs upgrades

The hotel is convenient, but is in serious need of an upgrading. There was a gap between the sliding glass door and the wall wide enough to see outside and feel the heat coming in. There were no towels in the room at check in so we asked for them…three times. While we did get bath towels, we were still never given wash cloths. Parking lot is filled with large pot holes. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Shower had nice pressure, but tub did not drain.

The stay was quiet. My complaint would be that when we checked in, i asked what time is breakest? The person said breakfast was from 6 to 10. We got up the next morning and went down for breakfast. No one was around the breakfast area so we started getting food on a plate and as we were doing that, two workers came by and asked if we had breakfast vouchers. We were like what breakfast vouchers? No one had told us anything about needing a breakfast voucher. Then we were told it was $9 a voucher and had to get them from the front desk. There was no silverware and we took one look at the quality of the food we had on the plate, threw it away, checked out and went out to breakfast. Cant recommend a stay here.

Unfriendly, unprofessional, and unwelcoming staff. We were not acknowledged or greeted upon check-in or check-out even tho the staff was well aware of our presence. They were not very accommodating. Room floors were disgusting and not vacuumed. Old crumbs of food and debris were strewn across the room floor upon initial entry. Bathroom countertops and bathtub appeared to be clean. Beds were made and supplies stocked. Temps were super cold in room and room was not prepped or warmed up. No hot breakfast since staff was “off” because of holidays. No awareness made prior to regarding breakfast or that breakfast would not be available and there were no clear instructions on where complimentary products were. We would NOT recommend staying here to anyone and will not return when back in town. Completely disappointed and unhappy about the overall stay. We wrapped up the day and went to go stay somewhere else in the area that was cleaner, accommodating, friendly, and professional.

This location is very convenient to the freeway, shopping and dining. However, the pictures are deceiving of this property. I was disappointed that the amenities were also not as listed. The overall naked eye the property was "clean" but went you look closely it was not so. The elevators were visibly dirty with disturbing looking hand and fingerprints on the doors. Also, the walls were covered with some type of what seemed like a sound burrier cover and the flooring and baseboards were visibly dirty and worn. The rooms and beds were ok, but the bathrooms can stand some touching up. The shower floors look very disgusting and I would not want to put my bare feet on it. The perimeters looked water damaged and rusty. A deep cleaning and fresh caulking would do wonders and settle as a quick cheap facelift. I was supposed to stay 2 nights for a nice little quick "staycation" with my wife for the weekend, but we cut it short. The gym was not worth using, which is something we looked forward to doing together. Also, we thought it was bar available, and it was not. Hopefully this property is in line for an update. If so I'd gladly like to come back to enjoy the property.

Property currently under construction. Should be closed until completed or rates drastically reduced. Only 12 rooms on forth floor available. Room not cleaned thoroughly. Stale odor and Found hair/dirt scum in shower. Poor breakfast ( a couple bagels) if you can call it that. I believe we were the only guests in the entire hotel during our 2 day stay.
