"Due to several things. Very disappointed!! Food was good once we got it. At630am the pancakes were served...then 20 min later the eggs came. I was to have a shower tub unit and we checked in went to room and unpacked then we saw we had it no tub shower unit my wife is handicapped and loses balance I did complain but girl said they had 1 only always. Said it very hard to get with just 1. Bummer...wife ended up not bathing. The pool I thought was heated nope freezing even outside."

"I started out with a room that had no shower curtain. I told the front desk and she said that they would bring one or change rooms . An hour later, no one had come so I went back to the office. She changed rooms but the urine odor in the room was so putrid that I couldn’t stay in it. I got changed to a third room and when I got in the shower this morning, there were roaches in the tub. Not a great stay."

"Hotel is undergoing an extensive renovation. The hotel is a mess right now. I’m hoping once they complete the update the hotel will be worth the money you are paying. Right now it’s not. The breakfast was also under par as compared to my previous experiences there."

"Our first room that was given to us was not even supposed to be rented out so it was gross from work being done. The staff was helpful and switched our room for us. Not the nicest place but it was ok."

"My husband I have a lot of overnight stays in Birmingham due to surgeries. This was the first time staying at Best Western, and the last time. The shower rod in the bathroom was about to come off the wall. The tub was rusted, there was dead bugs along the edge of the tub, you could tell that the floors had no t been swept or mopped in who knows how long. The bottoms of my socks were black. We even found someone’s sock in the closet, that tells u how well they clean. Even the baseboard was coming off the wall. Also, when checking out we asked for a receipt. They gave a printout that has $0 on it. Said they could not print a receipt with the amount on it, due to going through a 3rs party. We have always got a receipt at another hotel and went through a 3rd party. So to say WILL NEVER STAY THERE EVER AGAIN. I WOULD RATHWR SLEEP IN MY CAR. "
