"The hotel did not provide water for the in-room coffee maker. Which as it turns out was broken anyway. We were informed at check in that the room would only be serviced every other day, which was fine, but it was never serviced. The shower soap dispenser was empty (good thing I brought bar soap). We asked for wash cloths and they never arrived; we were told 'they were doing laundry'. The hotel was close to Riverwalk, which was convenient, just be aware there is a heavy homeless population in this area. It is unsettling if you are not used to it, and we were not. The Valet service was pretty good, considering I think they are understaffed. The Valet people were personable, the server in the dining room was good. Order off the menu and not the buffet. The buffet is OK if in a hurry and you eat a lot, but for $20.00 it was a better option for us to order off the menu. I don't think we would stay there again."
