"I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room is spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of good food. Our stomachs were well filled! I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Super beau! Super propre aussi, nous avions la chambre avec 2 lit et un sofa lit. Il y'avais 2 T.V! Seulement la seule chose qu'étais pas plaisant est que y'avais seulement une télécommande pour les deux T.V. Sa causer des chicanes entre les enfants lol! Nous aurions aimer qu'ils aurais eux plus de articles a vendre au "market" a la réception. ( Pepto Bismol,Gravol,Pensement,Bonbon pour la gorge, brosse a cheveux ect)"

"The hotel was full and there was no breakfast when we went down. Just tonnes of people standing around waiting for more food to come out. They were underprepared. We left and had breakfast elsewhere. "

"We got to this hotel and I had reserved a king size suite with kitchenette. When we got to our room it was 2 queen sized beds. The front desk told us there is a glitch and when it comes through to them it shows “2Q” or something and not the correct room. They didn’t have the correct room available to provide me unfortunately so we didn’t even stay and are supposed to be getting a refund. Very disappointing."

"For the dollar value, off season rate, it was a great deal. At first glance it is beautiful and the room was impressive with all its lights lit up. But the shock and awe stops there. It was freezing cold, the temperature was 65 degrees not just in the room but in the main common areas as well. I turned on the heat pump, and the fireplace and after an hour I had to call and as for the heat to be turned up. The heat pump was installed in the worst place, with a wall opposite it about 2 feet away,...

"Lovely spot if you don't need accessible features like a ramp. Parking was difficult to find the overflow lot. Needs better signage. Otherwise absolutely lovely and close to everything we needed."

"The Halliburton is a unique hotel located in an excellent location, a short walk to the Halifax Waterfront with many restaurants, coffee shops and pubs nearby. The room was clean and spacious with an elevated bed (had its own step stool so wouldn't recommend that for anyone with mobility issues) but it was very comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and the towels and linens were excellent. There is limited free parking in the back of the building which I used daily and some street parking...

"Sam's place is fantastic! Extremely clean and with a lot of good amenities such as fridge, microwave, coffee maker, all available for the guests. It is the perfect place for a quick retreat when close to the area and it's good to go swimming in the lake during the warmer days of summer. Sam is really kind and helpful, will definitely come back!"

"The bed height was too high for an accessible room. A person in wheelchair cannot independently get into the bed if it is higher than the average bum height. Please slightly lower the bed height."

"The hotel was nice, staff was helpful, pool area was great, rooms were clean and comfortable, but it was loud! When we were in our room we could hear quite a bit of noise from the hall (people talking, kids running), there were weird tapping noises in the morning (couldn't tell where they were coming from) and the construction at the new hospital across the street started before 7am (weekdays) with some loud thumping."
