So the check in was great. Friendly staff, easy process. I overheard that the parking was $10 a night, so I asked about it and it was confirmed. But the staff hadn't mentioned it when we were at the desk checking in. The room wasn't the King Suite I reserved...it was a double queen. Fine. The room (112) was...well worn. It could use an upgrade. We really needed to use the ironing board, but the leg was broken. I asked the front desk if we could borrow a working one...they didn't have any. So we had to lay the broken ironing board on the floor and did our best to iron the costumes for our film shoot down the road. When I woke up at 6;and tried to take a shower, no hot water. I fiddled with the hot and cold range of the shower knob for about 20 minutes, but it stayed cold...so, cold shower for me. Definitely woke me up. A bit disappointed in the whole experience. These are similar to the reasons we stopped staying at Hilton properties several years ago. Plus the Hilton Honors program is terrible. But we thought we'd give them another shot. We won't make this mistake again. 😞
