"We, as a rule, typically do not stay at these kind of outside entry roadside motels, but I booked this place based on the reviews and price before I realized it! I decided not to cancel though and we are so glad I didn't. The reviews are right. This is a well-maintained, clean motel, with key-pad entry. While it was relatively small, it was all we needed for our 1-night stay and we were impressed with several small things that stood out to us. The standard room had "hardwood" laminate floors, a decent-sized mini-fridge, microwave, TV and a real rug in the bathroom! Wall hung shampoo & conditioner in the shower, and a hair dryer were also provided. It was very clean and we saw no air leaks around the door or window. The AC was well sealed in the window which also had an outside shutter for protection and privacy. We enjoyed strolling the harbor area in the back after we arrived and the double net swing was very relaxing as we watched the sun set. The front rooms are separated from those in the rear by a securely locked door which we could hear thru pretty easily, so not a lot of privacy in that regard. Road noise was prevalent off an on throughout the night but we got used to it. I read in another review that a noise machine was provided. Looking back at my pics, I think my room had one too. I just didn't realize what it was! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again."
