Truth be told we were disappointed by this hotel. We arrived before check in and totally understood the room not being ready, but then it took over an hour and half after the resort posted check in time for it to be ready. We were given a voucher for drinks but had issues using it, which eventually got sorted out. A massive music festival had just wrapped up, but it took three days for it to be cleaned off the beach so a good portion of beach was blocked off during our stay, and had I known this we would have reconsidered staying. The breakfast staff were lovely, and there were many options available. We had a half board package and were told we could switch dinner for lunch, so we did and after being told we could each order a starter, a main and a dessert, we were made to feel greedy for ordering and ended up just sharing dishes as they seemed so annoyed with us. The room was spacious and a great view of the marina but the bathtub barely drained, even after we asked for it to be looked at, there was hair on one of the towels, and the tea that was complimentary was never replenished. The pool bar would be convenient but the prices were quite high and the service very slow, over 25 minutes to get a pre packaged ice cream and a pop. Other customers had to walk away from their orders because they were going to miss their boat tour.
Overall it felt like the hotel was more concerned with saving money than its guests. Disappointed. Had high hopes.
