"The place was clean and the staff was very helpful! However There was only 1 of the 2 bottles of "complimentary" (aka $2/ea.) water in our room when we arrived. The A/C was not working. We were woken up by construction very early Saturday morning. The final straw was when we returned to our room that night and could hear 2 small dogs barking in the room next door. Not something the hotel could prevent, but was the last thing we could put up with after trying to work with the other issues....

"The part of the sheer that sits right above the ac/heater when covering the entire window was moldy in the folds. The bath tub drain would not stay open, so the tub filled up with dirty, soapy water from showering. This made the surface of the bathtub VERY slippery while trying to finish showering, and getting out. Just about as slippery as the tile in the bathroom/sink area when it is wet. "I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). The little garden surrounding the building and the deck in back both were very nice. I...
