Convenient and Easy Stay

Family friendly and convenient location. The Holiday Inn Alpena is close to restaurants and the local parks and is in the heart of Downtown Alpena. The room amenities are basic and meet the daily needs. Shampoo and soaps were all Dove products. One area I would like to see improvement is the beds. They are medium firm yet left me with a back ache. The top blankets are duvet and it’s shifts in your sleep. The hot breakfast was nice and met all our needs for our family of 6. The food staff worked hard to ensure items stayed stocked. The employees we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

I really like this hotel and I’ve stayed here every time I come back to my hometown. But I can tell that the attention to cleanliness and upkeep is severely beginning to lack. Please don’t turn into the old Holiday Inn/Ramada. Breakfast is fantastic and staff is kind enough…but I can tell that they don’t care much about the guests.

When I walked in, the front desk staff was very welcoming! The hotel was super clean, and so was our room. And the bed was super comfortable! The complimentary breakfast was so good, and the variety was incredible. My overall stay was amazing. I’ll definitely be staying here again and recommending this hotel to my friends and family!
