"This is a nice place to stay within walking distance of the harbor and restaurants. There was construction going on with jackhammers starting at 8:00am on this property and the one next to it. We went down to use the hot tub and there was a notice that said the jets were not working. We decided to try to sit in the hot tub anyway, and it was not being heated. "Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money...
