"Spotlessly clean, wonderful hosts, excellent (and huge!) breakfast. Lovely towpath walk along the canal into the town centre. Only marked down because when we booked, the room was described as en suite when in fact the shower room was separate, shared and up a steep flight of stairs. "

"Lovely quirky little cottage with everything you need Bud stop just outside cottage in to Heben Bridge or can have a nice walk on public footpaths that doesn’t take too long Nice friendly pub next door would definitely stay again"

"Spacious courtyard room but close to the main building but beware of the cobbles! Staff were very friendly and helpful and anything asked for was dealt with quickly. Good vhoise on the breakfast menu but we found that some of the items arrived either overcooked or have been stored in a hot box until required. As for the bar there was an superb selection of cask beers and a great gin collection"

"Excellent well-appointed apartment on the edge of town but still a short walk from everything. Check-in/-out was easy, and the private parking was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend as a base for a stay in Hebden Bridge, we'll certainly be checking availability next time we visit the area."

"The hostel is clean, well kept and the gentleman that greeted us was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is about the mattress on my bed. I could feel every spring and coil. Time to replace it!"

"Moved from the bull to the shepherds rest as an upgrade prior to arrival. Out of 4 rooms (party of 4), rooms 10 and room 4 no heating. The bull may have better but I’d avoid the shepherds rest. Also none of the TVs worked in any of the 4 rooms and Wi-Fi password not shared. A shame as the rooms were fine even if the showers are a little small. Place was clean and obviously has been invested in. "
