"The owner was very courteous, gracious and helpful. When we arrived we asked her about where we could find a laundry mat. She not only told us where one was, but she drove us to it which was about 15 minutes away, and then came back to pick us up when we had finished. She gave us suggestions of what to see in the area and got us the bus schedules, so we could plan our time. Terrazza 72 is a new and very comfortable bed and breakfast and the modern decor felt like we we in a very upscale inn....

Location is also unbeatable with easy access to the shops below and ports / ferry. Booking a private transfer with them was seamless with a porter that helps to take luggage to the hotel. "The Palazzo Avino is an outstanding hotel! We had the most wonderful, relaxing vacation there! It is beautiful both inside an out with beautiful vistas from every corner, window, seat etc. My favourite part of the resort is their private beach club down by the sea. It is magnificent as well! The water is beautiful and your lounges are perch just above the sea. Remember to reserve a spot at the beach club when you arrive as there are only about 15 spots there!!!"

"The hotel is well situated on the outside of Amalfi town with good views and in a convenient location. We drove from another part of Italy and the drive was fun, although GPS isn't the best sometimes and its easy to make a wrong turn, so be prepared. The hotel is not for everyone, i would not recommend it to anyone on a budget. However, if money is not an issue for you, this is one of the better hotels.
