"Beautiful establishment with an interesting history. Service was exceptional; a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy. Room was well appointed with comfortable beds and everything a person would need for a wonderful nights sleep. Highly recommend if you are looking for peace and serenity!"

"Staff was great and our room was very clean. Would stay again if in the area"

"Very dated facility and rooms, smelled like my grandmother’s 1880’s house, musty smell and nasty carpet in rooms. Bathroom is tiny and moldly"

"I am SO TIRED of hoteliers who spend money on updating rooms and then buy cheap BRICK HARD mattresses. How difficult is it to comprehend that people NEED A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP? No one wants to sleep on a brick at the Taj Mahal. Sleep Inn built a name on good beds. I used to select them specifically for their beds. I have not been in a comfortable bed in ANY SLEEP INN in years. Put the money into an orthopedically sound bed (and NOT memory foam - it's terrible for the spine, too)."

"Hotel was so-so."

"There for an Iowa Hawkeye football game, so weekend rate was inflated, but a good location close to the airport, 15 minutes from downtown Cedar Rapids with good restaurants and 20-25 minutes from downtown Iowa City and football stadium parking. So far, the AmericInn properties have been a consistent experience for the rooms and amenities, so no negative surprises."

"A newer TV would be a nice addition. Other than that, this hotel is exactly what you would expect at this price."

"Didn’t spend a lot of time at the property but in the past when we’ve stayed here the breakfast was very good and the hot tub was nice. This trip, we were on the south side of the building and could hear the train throughout the night."

"Disappointing breakfast. But, motels are all the same."

"This La Quinta property was nothing like the one I was used to. Terrible breakfast, terrible housekeeping, custodial. There are many other hotels right around that area … go anywhere else."

"Amazing breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were terrific. Best hotel stay I have had in a while."
