"There are two primary reasons I rated this property 3 out of 5 stars. The room and facilities were very nice. However, this is a Springhill Suites, not a Motel 6. I did not expect to hear my neighbors walking on the floor above me, nor did I expect to hear them using the bathroom. This is not what I expect from a well-respected, higher-end chain like Springhill Suites. The other reason I am not completely happy is the parking fees. I knew about the $15/day parking when I reserved the room, but...

"Pool was fantastic! Rooms need an upgrade. Bars were OK. Outdoor bar was a little small. Front desk staff was fantastic. Very helpful. "

"The location was convenient for most of what I wanted to do. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is right on the beach, but due to that there were often people hanging out in the parking lot smoking near by etc... My room was fine; a bit awkward but fine for one person. The bathroom had many extras and storage which was nice. My windows faced the beach, but one whole side was blurred/smudged out I guess from being old. My room was near the elevator and it was very loud both nights....

"Large refrigerator, microwave, dishes and utensils are in the room. Also two grills outside by the pool and small fitness center. Excellent value overall."

"While a clean and comfortable property, the walk to the beach was difficult for my husband who has minor mobility issues. The continental breakfast was minimal and probably should just have gone unmentioned. We paid a good bit for beach access that could not be used by my husband."

"Property is amazing and home renovation and condition was outstanding, unfortunately we went on a cold weekend and the room was freezing (60°F) with no way to adjust temperature. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. These conditions resulting in almost no sleep."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area....
