The location and property was very nice. There was a plethora of amenities, including free water (hard to find in Europe), and it was very clean. However, the room was unbearably hot. There was no air circulation (even with a little fan included by the property) and made it truly hard to be in.

So close to both bus and tram, was excellent location for visiting. Staff were incredible: so friendly and welcoming, and the space felt very safe- ideal for young and solo travellers. Bathrooms and showers were lovely and very clean- with soaps available which was perfect. The front lobby was also well stocked. The rooms are very small which is no issue at all, but they do have a slight ventilation issue, but if you’re not staying more than three days it’s not an issue. The beds are very comfortable and the lighting is great- the hostel was actually very quiet and there is a safe and storage space.

Mega seje toiletter! Værelserne var mindre end jeg forventede, men det var intet problem. Sengen var god og fællesbadeværelserne var pæne og rene.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and cozy. The bathrooms were well maintained, but at times lacked toilet paper and paper towels. Showers were clean at the beginning of my stay, but by the end of the week, they smelled like pee and had hairs all in the drain. It does not appear that the staff cleaned the showers regularly or at all, for that matter. Carpets throughout the hotel were stained and dirty, which was very unfortunate because that could have made a big difference in the appearance. At times it seemed like a frat house with people coming and going at all hours. Overall it was an okay experience. Was very easy to get around the city as there were bus and tram stops close by. And the convenience of a grocery store really helped. Plenty of restaurants and shops are around as well.

A/C did not work in our room. Bathrooms were not as clean as other places we stayed on our trip. 2 of 4 showers didn't work. The bathroom sinks are too short to be usable. Overall not worth staying here, especially considering the 1 night as stayed at this hotel cost the same as 4 nights in a similar style hotel in Rotterdam.

I had a really good time at the hyve!! There's a lot of useful amenities to use and the staff are very friendly. One of the evenings i decided to watch the football inside the hyve and shared some bitterballs with one of the staff members which was fun! The only down side is it's a little bit of a walk to get the tram or bus, however, there's plenty of good coffee shops and ice cream places to stop at on the way. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and will be coming back sometime in the future. Thank you to all the lovely!! 🐝

O local fica afastado dos principais pontos turísticos ou você pega um transporte ou enfrenta uma caminhada longa. A limpeza muito boa, porém para nós o que nos surpreendeu foi o tamanho é realmente uma cápsula.

Tout est parfait, le personnel est agréable, disponible si vous avez besoin de quelque chose mais pas envahissant. La chambre est parfaite, la literie est très très confortable. Les sanitaires sont très propres. Rien à redire, on reviendra sans hésitation.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch gut. Man ist nicht direkt im Zentrum, ist aber dennoch mit dem Tram schnell im Geschehen. Wer fit zu Fuss ist, kann auch so den Kern von Amaterdam erkunden.
