"This was one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in over the years, and I've stayed in a fair few. It is a lovely house in a perfect location on Broadway, just off Douglas Prom. You can walk to the Sea Terminal and bus station in about 15 minutes, there are also buses along the prom, and the horse tram stops at the bottom of Broadway if you want to go to Derby Castle for the railway to Laxey and Ramsey. My room was clean and comfortable, I had a great sleep every night. I had a room facing the road but the double glazing was excellent and there was no traffic noise. The room was serviced every day and topped up. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cooked food, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices etc. As I was there for the racing down at Castletown it was possible to pre-order the day before the racing to ensure a quick service on the morning, leaving time to catch the bus down south. Very thoughtful of the owners. I caught an early boat on my departure and although I missed breakfast on that day I was offered the option of having something left in my room. Again, very thoughtful. In short I really can't fault anything with my stay, it was very pleasant indeed, I would happily recommend The Devonian and will definitely be booking with them again."
