"Delightful place, amazing staff and delicious buffet breakfast with hot, cold options from stir fries to porridge, fruit and baked good. There is a free shuttle a couple of times a day to and from the beach. The staff and very lovely and will help you out. The only downside is it's a little bit away from most things but this keeps it quiet and very situated right at the edge of the forest. There are a few squirrels around too! If you call them up they may be able to give you a further discounted...

"The property itself was amazing and incredibly beautiful plus it felt like there was also an abundant amount of privacy. But the arrival (not knowing you arrived by boat) was not nice. The tide was out and suitcases needed to be brought to shore (which I did by myself) not fun. Besides of the lack of knowledge of arrival requirements, the place was quite lovely. LOTS OF MOSQUITOS, so bring spray."

"We stayed at The Scene Cliff View for 5 nights during off season (June). The Resort is located almost at the end of the busy main street of Ao Nang which keeps it quit and calm during your stay. The shuttle leaves multiple times a day and brings you directly to Ao Nang beach. otherwise its a 15-20min walk to the central. The pool is clean and have one directly in front of your door is even more relaxing. Unfortunately i need to mention the breakfast. I know its never easy too keep the services...

"The staff was incredibly sweet, helpful and kept my room stocked. I had the do not disturb sign up, as not to waste towels or bedding while I was there, and they still left 2 bottles of water outside my door each day to restock my fridge :) Very considerate!"

Found an active nest of dangerous wasps on my balcony and the maintenance staff was able to remove it. Cold to luke-warm showers on high floors with low water pressure. No mini-bar or microwave in the room. Bath robes and towels were quite old. Pool on the ground floor was deserted with no guests using it all the time, one or two...

"There were ants from the reception desk to the furniture in the room and then eventually in my bed. The staff offered a room change eventually but it was a nightmare given the lack of a lift. The nearby beach is disgustingly dirty and polluted with many longtail boats. Lots of jellyfish too."
