"Gina and staff were warm and friendly. When our toilet clogged, we got upgraded. When we needed a delayed checkout, they accommodated. We had a fire for a cold night and got delicious eggs and crispy bacon for breakfast. Highly recommend for those lovers of all things Italian. "

"The location is great. There's so much nearby within walking distance. It's an easy uber drive to Wrigley Stadium and close enought to Cloud gate and river tours. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working during our stay so it meant going up and down 4 flights of stairs. The staff was very friendly! They had just opened a new in house restaurant which is convenient, we just didnt get enough time to try it. "

It doesn't matter how much cleaning is done, the kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas always feel gritty and sticky. This hostel is far from community-oriented with how the staff avoid greetings and acknowledgment. Most of the people who stay here also contribute to the discomfort and awkwardness."
